Cookie policy
Last updated, 6 October 2026 · Version 1.0
In case of any difference, the Italian version prevails.
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies the website bnbbergamo.it uses, pursuant to Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines of 10 June 2021.
1. In brief
This site is deliberately minimal. It uses no cookies, neither technical nor profiling, has no third-party statistics and no advertising pixels. It writes nothing to the browser's memory. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so browsing sends no request to Google Fonts. The only third-party content the site may load is the Google map, and only if you press the “Show the map” button.
2. What is stored on your device
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| None | — | This site (first party) | The site sets no cookies of its own and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage | — |
Google Maps cookies (NID, CONSENT and others) |
Third party, potentially profiling | Google Ireland Limited | Operation and personalisation of the map. They are set only after you have pressed “Show the map”, and only for that visit | Defined by Google, see their notice |
3. The Google map
If you decide to load the map, your IP address and some device information are transmitted to Google, which may set its own cookies. The processing is governed by Google's privacy policy. If you do not want this to happen, do not press the button. The address and the link that opens Google Maps in a separate tab remain available in any case.
4. WhatsApp and phone
The WhatsApp and Call buttons are simple links that open the app on your device. They load no third-party scripts or cookies inside the site.
5. Changing your mind
There is nothing to withdraw, because your choice is not stored. The map loads only when you press the button, and on your next visit the site starts again without the map. If you have already loaded the map and want to delete the cookies set by Google, you can do so from your browser settings.
6. Managing cookies from your browser
You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Here are the official guides.
If you block everything, the site keeps working exactly as before.
